was founded in 2007 and focus heavily on working with people and companies in L.A.’s movie industry. They pride themselves in having “local Spanish teachers” who focus on the Spanish that is spoken in Los Angeles (the slang and phrases) so this may be a plus – or a minus – to some people.

They offer both group and private lessons both in person and online. The cost per hour for private lessons ranges about $60 US per hour. Their group classes meet once a week.

is located just steps away from the famous Santa Monica Pier. They are a bit different in that most of their Spanish classes are given on a quarterly schedule. This is great if you plan ahead but may be a bit harder if you are looking to start and stop on your own schedule.

At the offers a wide variety of group Spanish classes at different times of the day so you can time your classes to avoid the heavy Los Angeles traffic. While the team here seems to be smaller than some of the other schools on this list, they pride themselves on the small classroom experience.

Their classes are both online and in person and run for a kind of strange 80 minutes in length. They do offer private tutoring as well, but don’t advertise the cost on their website, which leads us to believe that is not a very common thing for them.
