The Spanish present perfect subjunctive tense is used to describe an action that occurred in the past, and that continues or repeats into the present. Like the present perfect indicative. It is also used for actions that will have happened by a certain point in the future.

Form:

Example:

Me alegra

I am happy

hayas llegado temprano de tu trabajo.

you have arrived earlier to work.

Uses

Describe an action that occurred in the past and continues or repeats into the present.

Mi amigo duda que hayas visto la pel铆cula. My friend doubts that you have seen the movie.

Actions that will have happened at a certain point in the future.

Es posible que hayan regresado en verano Es posible que hayan regresado en verano

The following charts show the verb 鈥渆ndings鈥 for all regular verbs in the Present Perfect Subjunctive Tense.

Remember: these verb charts are only a tool to use while one is learning the language. In other words, one must eventually forget the verb chart and it must become second nature.

NOTE: The following endings are added to the infinitive. Do not drop the original endings.
