The Spanish present subjunctive tense is used to talk about events that are taking place currently that cause doubt, desire, intent, emotion or uncertainty. Subjunctive is one of the hardest tenses to learn for people who speak English or any other language that does not use this tense.
No estoy seguro de que mis papas puedan venir. | I am not sure if my parents can come. |
Busco unos zapatos que sean 肠贸尘辞诲辞蝉. | I am looking for a pair of comfortable shoes. |

The regular Present Subjunctive verbs are conjugated by dropping the -ar, -er, and -ar at the end of the verb and adding the proper conjugation.
The ending identifies:
1) the tense - when the action of the verb is taking place; and
2) the person - who is performing the action of the verb.
