Leyla El-Ashry - English Tutor

Introduction

My name is Leyla El-Ashry I am originally from the United Kingdom and am a TEFL certified teacher. I have had nearly over 10 years of experience working within the field of teaching English as a foreign language. I have worked at Wall Street English, iTutorGroup, Think & Grow Education (amongst others) as an English Language and Literature teacher with extremely positive results and reviews. In these roles I carried out numerous tasks which included but were not limited to; being dynamic and innovative with teaching skills, being well informed and sensitive to cultural issues, encouraging and showing interest in my students, and caring about their progress whilst also creating lesson plans adapted to their language needs/goals. I am also trained in providing lessons/preparation for standardised language exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, KET, PET, CPE etc. I received a BA in Philosophy with Honours and a Master of Divinity from Harvard University.
